NSU to Host NSU Commencements; Traffic/Parking Impacted on Fort Lauderdale/Davie Campus
NSU’s Fort Lauderdale/Davie campus has the honor of hosting 10 of NSU’s commencement ceremonies and the University School. All ceremonies will be held in the Rick Case Arena at the Don Taft University Center.

On the above dates, we are expecting considerable traffic on and around our Fort Lauderdale/Davie campus and carpooling is encouraged to reduce traffic on and around campus. Guests attending the rehearsals and graduation ceremonies will utilize the Alvin Sherman Library parking garage.
To accommodate our NSU community and the visiting public, parking will be available in alternate lots for students, staff, and faculty members. Library patrons visiting the Alvin Sherman Library will still have access to the first floor of the Library Garage as usual.
All NSU and University School students, staff, and faculty members who customarily utilize the Alvin Sherman Library garage, please park in the following areas during the NSU Commencement ceremonies:
- West Parking Garage
- Maltz/Law Center Parking Lot
- Health Professions Division (HPD) Garage upper levels
- Residential Halls parking Lots
- Horvitz south parking Lot

* The Mailman Hollywood parking lot, Carl DeSantis parking lot (partial only) and the library garage will be fully reserved for all guests and graduates coming to the ceremonies.
** The Rosenthal lot will be utilized to accommodate Handicap/Disabled Parking only.
