Van Gurp Tabbed SSC Player of the Year
Having reached the 30-win mark for the first time since 2014, the Nova Southeastern softball team added to its notable season on Thursday, as a pair of standouts were recognized on the All-Sunshine State Conference teams. Second baseman Suka Van Gurp became the fourth player in program history to be selected as the SSC Player of the Year, while sophomore pitcher Miriam Schmoll was named as a member of the All-SSC Second Team.
