Déjà Vu! Men’s Basketball Team Heads to Tourney Undefeated

After clinching the program’s second consecutive Sunshine State Conference tournament title, the No. 1 ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Men’s Basketball, led by SSC Coach of the Year Jim Crutchfield, took the reins as the top seed in the upcoming 2023 NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament.
The Sharks (30-0) closed the SSC title run beating Embry-Riddle 92-69. They will enter the NCAA Tournament undefeated for the second consecutive season and are the lone unbeaten program across Division I and II.

RJ Sunahara, the Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year, and Will Yoakum, the SSC Newcomer of the Year & Tournament MVP, lead the undefeated Sharks.

In Saturday’s (March 11) quarterfinals competition, NSU will face No. 8 seed Miles (23-6) at the Rick Case Arena.
