Fischler Professor to be Featured in Newsletter
A professor from Nova Southeastern University’s Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice Professor will be featured in the Teaching with Primary Sources (TPS) Southern Regional Newsletter.

Angie Su, Ed.D., will highlight different ways to connect mathematics with primary source analysis in the classroom. Su’s article, titled “Making Numbers Tell a Story: Quantitative Reasoning with TPS Primary Sources,” explores different ways educators can integrate math-based primary sources into teaching connecting mathematics with history and inquiry-based learning.
The issue will also include a companion lesson idea developed by a TPS graduate student inspired by Su’s efforts. In addition to being featured in the newsletter, Su will also be featured in the TPS “Digging In” monthly webinar series on December 11, where she will discuss her work and real examples of math-infused primary source activities that engage critical thinking across disciplines.
