Women’s Basketball Team Loses to Eckerd in Close Contest

After a strong season that led to a berth in first round of the 2023 NCAA Division II Championship Tournament, the No. 7 seed NSU women’s basketball team lost in a tight contest on Friday, March 10, to No. 2 seed Eckerd. The Sharks held a 17-14 lead after the first quarter, but were unable to hold off the Tritons, who battled back to win 79-73 at the Bob Martinez Center in Tampa.
