NSU Writing & Communication Center Undergraduate Consultant Performs in Dance Works
Patricia Linoz, Bachelor of Science undergraduate student in the College of Psychology, and NSU Writing & Communication Center (WCC) consultant, performed in Dance Works, at the Performance Theatre, Don Taft University Center, November 8-9, 2019.
Each year, the Department of Performing and Visual Arts (PVA) in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences presents outstanding visual arts exhibitions and theatrical, musical, and dance productions. This year, Dance Works featured members of the NSU Dance ensemble performing new original work by dance faculty and guest choreographers. This performance featured a diverse range of styles and showcased the incredible talent of the NSU Dance Ensemble.
“Dance Works was an amazing experience for me because I was not only able to improve my skills as a dancer, but I also met amazing people that I will stay in touch with for the rest of my life,” Linoz explains. She notes that she “worked with choreographers that impacted me greatly and was able to find a group of individuals that I identify with in a lot of aspects. It was also great that I was able to help some of them with their papers in the WCC and that I fellowed some of their comp classes as well!”
