15th Annual Sallarulo’s Race for Champions 5k
Get out your running or walking shoes and sign up for the 15th Annual Sallarulo’s Race for Champions to be held virtually on Saturday, November 7. Unfortunately, we will not be able to have this event on campus this year, but there will be thousands of runners and walkers who will participate in this virtual 5K race to benefit Special Olympics Florida – Broward County.
Date: November 7, 2020
Time : no real time for the race, participants can be tracked at any time. Celebration of Champions starts at 10am on their Facebook page.
When registering, you will receive information on the Celebration and Move Spring App. This app will monitor and track your distance from anywhere. When you log in on the morning of November 7, you can walk or run your 5k around your neighborhood, favorite trail, or even on the beach. Then join all South Florida participants at 10 a.m. for a virtual Celebration of Champions on the Special Olympics Florida Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/specialolympicsflorida. Registration for the event is $39, but the first 50 NSU Alumni, Students, Faculty, or Staff to register will receive a 15% discount with code NSU15.
